We are new to your website and your teachings, but have heard good things about your ministry! This was the first video of yours we have watched.

I very much liked certain aspects of this short teaching, but others I did not agree with. In particular, I very much liked the emphasis on God’s perspective of who we are, and that it has no reference to sin or our past, nor our behavior, because he does not remember our sins. This is such a valuable and essential revelation that we need to focus on, both for our own benefit, and in our teaching. It very much sets the believer in the right frame of reference for our interaction with our heavenly Father!

I did not agree at all with your light dismissal (near disrespect) of the understanding of the Greek “kainos” for the word “new” in 2 Cor 5:17. (“Rubbish”? Truly now?) I believe that there are many more expressions of that idea in Scripture, and implications revealed in other verses that point back to and solidify why, in that verse, that word means precisely what you denied.

However, this is your ministry page, and I do not believe it is right to argue and vent here. Instead, I believe it is important to communicate how encouraging it is, and wonderful that you are preaching such an awesome message, the overwhelming love and grace of God that is truly “beyond comparison”!

We look forward to watching more of your videos, and reading more of your teachings.

Hi – great to connect … and I don’t mind discussion at all, especially with the attitude you communicate:)

Here is an article in which I explore those concepts and hopefully make them clearer: The New Creation

Thanks Andre, I read through the linked article.

Don’t agree (even more) with several elements of all of this, particularly with the interpretation of several of the Greek words. However, none of it is worth arguing over, as it is clear that there is a complete theological viewpoint that generates this perspective, thus steering the interpretation of the verses. (Don’t we all have that?) ;) I have no interest in arguing something you are convinced of – stay convinced!

I also watched the video (from AWMI Hungary) about the value of man, which has many thoughts which correlate with the article. I very much liked the perspective of how God sees us, sees himself in man.

We pray for your strength and wisdom! God bless you!

I have heard both you and Mary Ann speak twice in Fort Wayne. I have to say you are the sweetest people I have every met. So intelligent, but simple and humble. We as young people will learn so much from your Finish Works marriage. Can’t wait to attend your FW marriage conference one day in the future. Thank you Jesus that you and Mary Ann (Jesus) exist. LOL Love from Fort Wayne.

Hi Andre ( and vizwhiz )

I find the following also a handy reference….

    (Jonathan Mitchell new testament:)
2Co 5:17 So that if (or: since) anyone [is] within Christ ([the] Anointed One), [there is] a new (of different kind, character and quality) creation (framing; founding; act of creation): the original things (the beginning [situations]; the archaic and primitive things) passed by (went to the side). Consider! New things have come into existence (have been birthed; or: It has become new things; or: He has been birthed and now exists being ones of a different kind, character and quality).
2Co 5:18 Yet all things [are] (the Whole [is]) forth from out of the midst of God – the One transforming us down to be other [than we were] (bringing us down into another place or state of being; changing us to correspond with other [perceptions and conceptions]; altering us down to be another [person]; changing us from enmity to friendship; reconciling us) in Himself (by Himself; to Himself; for Himself), through Christ, and giving to us the attending service of the transformation to be other [than we were] (the lowering of us into another [position]; the changing of us to correspond with other [situations; perceptions]; the alteration for us to be another [person]; the change from enmity to friendship; the reconciliation),
2Co 5:19 as that God was existing within Christ (God was and continued being within [the] Anointed One) continuously transforming [the] world ([the] system of culture, religion and government) down to be other [than it is] (progressively bring [the] ordered system down into another [position]; repeatedly changing [the] universe to correspond with other [conditions; perceptions]; progressively altering [the] ordered arrangement down to be another one; habitually and progressively changing [the] world from enmity to friendship; reconciling [the] world [of mankind]) in Himself (to Himself; for Himself; by Himself), not accounting to them (not putting to their account; not logically considering for them; not reasoning in them) their falls to the side (their trespasses; their offences), even placing within us the Word (the Idea; the Reason; the message) of the corresponding transformation (the full alteration; the change from enmity to friendship; the conciliation).
