Love is not needy, lack-conscious or aware of what it does not have. Love is an expression of abundance; the overflow of joy and satisfaction.

God is obsessed with you! David discovered this when he wrote: “What is man, that thou art mindful of him?” (Ps 8:4). His mind is full of you. Job discovered it when he wrote that God would not even turn His gaze away from him long enough to swallow his spit! [...]
