So enjoyed meditating and translating 1 John … come enjoy with me :)

1 John 1
1 That which is most significant in time, first in position, and highest in rank, that which is original entered our ears and we recognised it’s authenticity. It opened our eyes and we have gazed upon it ever since! This Word is life and has become a present and tangible reality for us. 2 Life appeared and captured our attention – we resonate with confirmation. We cannot but declare to you that this is absolute life, the way Father intended it from the very start. It is now so clear to us.

3 That which awakened our ears and arrested our attention, is what we declare to you, in the confidence that the same intimacy we enjoy, will be ignited in you also! This fellowship, this entanglement is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ. 4 We write this that you may enjoy this perfect delight with us.

5 The message we heard from Him and declare to you is clear, there is nothing vague about it: God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we are intimate with Him, but continue to live in darkness, we deceive ourselves – this truth is made to be lived! 7 But if we allow this light to become the reality we live in, the same reality He lives in, it results in uninterrupted enjoyment of one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ constantly cleanses us from every attempt to draw us back into a lesser reality (missing the mark).
8 If we have missed the mark – sinned – there is no point in denying it. Who are we fooling? Sin does not disappear because we refuse to acknowledge it. 9 But rather, through aligning ourselves with the logic of God, agreeing with Him, we deal with sin with this clear declaration:
He is faithful;
He is just;
He forgives us, cleansing us from anything that tries to contaminate our blameless innocence.
(He is the basis of your forgiveness and your innocence, not so much what we say)
10 If we deny that there was ever a problem, we deny the very One who came to fix things. That’s obviously not true.

2:1 My precious little ones, let me make this clear: you don’t have to sin! And if anyone does fall short, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. (Our advocate has indisputable evidence that your debt has been paid, and in His own righteous person, He represents your innocence) 2 He is Himself the atonement for our sin, and not for ours only, but for the whole world!3 Our knowledge of Him is made evident by the way we treasure His authoritative word. 4 Again, this is not just a matter of what we say. Don’t profess your knowledge of Him while your life denies Him – what a terrible illusion to live in.5 Whoever treasures this word, not allowing any of it to escape his attention, will know the reality of God’s perfected love within himself and rest in the sure understanding that we are in Him.

6-8 You owe it to yourself to take this union life beyond mere confession. Let His abiding presence direct your every step; your whole being was made to reflect Him. For you to display the same life that He displayed, was the unavoidable conclusion of this message from the very start. Perfect love was the original motivation and is the final conclusion to this message.

Brethren, what I’m describing is not a new message, but the original message, from the Author Himself. Just like the eye of a fountain releases the fresh water hidden below it, the truth preserved in Christ finds relevant and fresh expression through you. It has always been true, but it is fresh in your appreciation, as the darkness of ignorance is replaced by the reality of what truth reveals.

9 Here’s a reality check for you: If you think you are enlightened, but your ‘light’ causes you to love less, you are not enlightened at all. In fact you are in the dark even to this present moment.
10 Radiating love towards your brother is what makes your enlightenment visible. Such light keeps you from being snared and tricked into missing the mark.
11 It’s simple: If what you believe causes you to detest your brother, you are in the dark, confused and without direction. Your vision has been dimmed, even to the point of blindness.
12 I write to you little ones, because your sin has been taken away, forgiven, by his accomplishment – an achievement represented by His name. (His name represents your innocence)
13 I write to you fathers because you have understood Him in the context of the beginning, His original thought. I write to you, young ones, because you have conquered evil. I write to you little ones because you know the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because your knowledge of Him is authentic, and you understand what is most essential, most significant about Him. (That which motivated God in the very beginning, even before creation, is what reveals His character most accurately. God was not lonely or bored, His overflow of love is what gave birth to the idea of man – God is love.)
I have written to you youth, because you are boisterous and God’s logic is finding expression through you, subduing evil.
15 Love not this worldly order, neither its decorations. If anyone gives their affection to this world, they’ll not be able to give it to the Father at the same time. (No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. Mt 6:24)
16, 17 Don’t give yourself to what is temporal, for everything in this worldly system promotes unfulfilled desires, appealing to your flesh … your most base appetites, advertising its lies to your eyes, promising fulfilment and a reason to be proud of yourself. None of this is from your Father, but is from a system that is passing away, together with all it’s lusts.
But giving yourself and aligning yourself with God’s order, means that you align yourself with what is permanent – God’s pleasure.
18 Little children, this is the final hour. You were told that those who appose the Anointed one will come. Many who appose Christ have come already, making the significance and finality of this hour even more obvious.
19 Some of them even came from amongst us, but even though they came from us, they never really were with us, otherwise they would have continued with us. Their departure made their opposition to us, obvious.
20 But you have an anointing – the Holy One has smeared and rubbed Himself all over you – and you know all things. (Anointing – to smear or rub)
21 I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it! Truth is pure, there is nothing false in it.
22 You deny the truth about yourself, making yourself false, when you deny that Jesus is the Anointed one.
23 Whoever contradicts the Son, does not grasp the Father either, but he who acknowledges the Son, grasps the Father also.
24 Allow this to make its permanent home in you, allow this to become your abiding mindset:  the original word, the logic of your beginning.
25 If this authentic message, that resonated within you when you heard it, finds a permanent dwelling in you, you will also find permanent rest in the Son and in the Father. This is the ultimate message … no more searching, no more shifting, you have found what you’ve been looking for. This is what He promised us – absolute life, life in the highest degree, the God kind of life!
26 Now concerning those who try to seduce you with their own brand of teaching.27 You have an anointing – this intertwining in which He gets all over you and in you – it is an abiding reality and teaches you what no man could ever teach you, releasing you from a sense of need and desperation to hear the next best thing. Just as this anointing has taught you everything you need to know, and there is nothing derived in it, it comes straight from the source, so continue your secure rest in Him.
28 Right now, precious ones, become aware of His abiding presence. And whenever He manifests Himself, don’t draw back. Be bold in this place of closeness.
29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who acts righteously, is an extension of Him.

    God’s heart … amazing!.

We are not “sinners saved by grace” … in fact … we do not sin … sin no longer defines us nor our life. When we do/think something outside of HIS Nature in us … we simply declare that is not who I AM and live from what Jesus has done for us in HIS resurrection.
Our Identity is everything. It is the place from which we love, live, and rule. Thank God for His truly Good News.

So honored to be so loved by my Father … even though I know that I see my own reflection in His eyes … I remind myself to realize this is my Father’s intent to enable me to look at my destiny … look at how complete and perfect He is in me … and … so I AM.

Empowerment is given to Royalty … intimacy is about currency in His Love and in BEING … I cannot be nor exist apart from Him … any other existence defines an identity breach. So I remain in what He has done to me and in me … I remain in HIM.

Obedience is not what I do … it is what He has done to me, for me, and in me … I AM under His influence … I am held by His influence. Being under His influence is my obedience under His grace.

I am compelled to co-create (now that Rule, Authority, and Dominion is restored to and in my new me) by faith premised on what He says about me and the reflection I see of myself in His eyes. We are in agreement … under THE influence.
God is light … there is no darkness in Him at all … not in me … not in you.

This is the place of worship … enjoying the goodness of Him in you.
