Hi Andre

Someone ones said: "we are called human beings, not human doings"

I really enjoyed the last article. It is something so close to my heart, because I see so many precious people trapped in believing the lies of the enemy. I pray that the people reading your article will be encouraged and be stirred within their hearts to embrace the Word of God and receive it with joy. I thank God that the Word admonish us to preach Christ and not our own experience. The gospel is so simple for those who dare to believe in it with their whole heart, for in it the righteousness of God is revealed. God's faith, His testimony concerning us is greater than any other opinion, man could label us with.

Years ago, I made a decision to keep my gaze and fix it on Jesus the author and finisher of my faith. Our faith begins and ends with Him. Without Jesus our faith is worthless. Modern day theology and especially the topic you deal with in your article is ignoring Christ's finished work and the implications of grace on the human race. Only a few months ago someone who are very into these counselling methods challenged a group of believers by saying and I quote: "Don't tell me who you are in Christ, I don't want to hear that, tell me who you really are? Paul wrote and says:"I am what I am by the grace of God". Paul seem to think that Grace defines his life and not his past or experience that is contrary to what grace reveals. I think people who ask these questions to believers lack revelation and are unmindful of the Rock that begot them. His work is perfect. We are His workmanship. We are Not the product of our past experiences or our own effort to somehow rid ourselves of these hurts and pains. Eph2:8-10; Deut 32:1-4;18 We are saved by grace not by our own works. Paul says to the guys in Corinthians it is the Lord who judges me, Praise God for His righteuos judgement. If Paul had to consider himself from a human point of view he would have been the first to disqaulify himself, but grace defined Him. Even His biggest achievement and heritage was as rubbish to him.If ever someone had a past it was Paul.

If God is pleased with me and favours me and did something with me 2000 years ago in Christ, why would I need counselling to get over the hurt and pain of what someone said or done to me 20 years ago or could it just be that we lost the joy of appreciating the value of such a great salvation. If we died (the old man and its history) with Christ and all of its past with it. GAL2:20: Col3:1-4 If we are made brand new in Christ Jesus than our only responsibility is to celebrate the new creation. We will continue to celebrate Jesus and all of Him within us, hallelujah! For indeed we are complete in HIM. Lets leave the dead for the Psychologist to resurrect.

Andre, my dear friend I am so blessed and encouraged to see you lift up your voice with strenght and shout aloud. How loveley are the feet of those who brings good news.

In His appreciation of you with tons of love
